About Us

The name "Lean1n" is inspired by the book "Lean In" by female author Sheryl Sandberg.

Founded in 2022 amidst the controversy of the Roe v. Wade supreme court decision, we gather through our passion and shared ideas, using writing as our medium, to "Lean In" and discuss feminism as we see it.

Your voice matters. Lean1n encourages everyone to participate in discussions with diverse perspectives in a friendly manner. Here, you can share your stories or opinions and also listen to the voices of others.

Based in China, we focus primarily on feminism within the Chinese context, posting articles in Chinese via Chinese platforms.

With the goal of broadening the reach of our organization to an international audience, we have decided to translate our articles into English as well. That is why we created this website, where we will post and update our articles at the same pace as on our Chinese platforms.
